Spyrka Electric began with one man: Scott Spyrka, and his talent, determination, and joy in solving puzzling problems, then using his hands to implement sound solutions. Beginning as an apprentice electrician over 24 years ago, Scott has been able to translate puzzling electrical problems into viable solutions for hundreds of satisfied customers.
Today Spyrka Electric is a thriving family business, having grown from one van to six service vehicles and six employees, efficiently run with three journeymen, one apprentice, one estimator-project supervisor, and one office manager.
While Scott is the hands-on owner, estimator, and project supervisor, his wife Katy is the office manager. At one point or another, in addition to the employees, all three of the Spyrka children have been involved with the company in a variety of capacities, ranging from assisting with office filing and billing to vehicle maintenance.
“By involving my family in the business, I demonstrate to my children and employees that by working together, everything can be achieved,” says Scott.
Scott emphasizes close, working relationships with his employees as well, and he is adamant that they be trained professionals. A strong believer in treating his employees with the same level of appreciation that he treats his customers, the Spyrka’s regularly host company functions, fostering goodwill all around, which in turn benefits the customer!

Always current on the latest building code changes and new product applications, Spyrka does just about everything electric, except appliance repairs.
